Monday Beauty Tip: Sexy, Soft, and Healthy Skin

Monday beauty tip

Your epidermis is arguably one of the most aspects of your outer body. Not only does it protect your inner body, it is also the first thing you (and other people) notice about you. It does a lot for you, so you might as well take care of it. So here's your Monday beauty tip for taking care of your skin.
  • Moisture, moisture, moisture. There are more creams, treatments, and surgical procedures out there today to keep skin looking young and fresh than ever before. We are a culture obsessed with youth. One of the easiest things you can do now before trying the expensive alternatives, go for basic moisturizing. A quality lotion with vitamin E helps skin stay soft, healthy, and plump. Vitamin E is also known for helping to reduce the visibility of scars and dark spots! This means moisturizing from the inside as well. Drink plenty of water through the day. Alcohol, caffeine, and sugar wreak havoc on your skin, causing break outs and dryness.
  • Protection as a future investment. Everyone knows that the sun can cause cancer and if you ever have a suspicious mole, make sure to have it checked immediately. But the sun also tends to damage the skin on a different level as well, making it lose elasticity more quickly. Be sure to wear sunscreen when you go out, a lotion with sunscreen works well for your face, in order to protect your assets. If you are wary of using so many chemicals try a health food store or beauty store for a natural alternatives.
  • Don't forget to exfoliate! Not only does exfoliating reward you with soft skin, it removes the dead and clumpy skin that tends to abound otherwise. This allows your skin to really breathe and be alive. When you gently shed that dull skin you leave skin open to drink up your moisturizer, acne meds, or anything else you use to treat your skin. Try exfoliating face washes, microdermabrasion home kits, or even treat yourself to a spa once in awhile.

Start your new year off right with a dedication to make your skin happy and healthy.
