How To Preserve Your Salon Blowout For 5 Days Or More

You've just received your salon blowout. Your hair is straight, bouncy, and full of life. One of the advantages of hair blowouts is it can be used if your hair is straight, curly, or wavy. Salon quality blow outs tend to be a better than blowing out your hair at home - and that's because the hair stylist will have a better view of your hair, as well as better technique. Obtaining a perfect blow out tend to be tedious. You can extend the blowout for a couple of days, allowing you to enjoy your straightened locks for a couple of days.
Apply an anti humidity hair serum on the ends of the hair. Do this sparingly. Antihumidity products are usually made with a light silicone to create an invisible layer between your hair and external moisture. Try only applying the product on the ends of the hair to avoid greasy looking roots. Paddle brushes are great at distributing product evenly throughout the hair.
Invest in a satin pillow case. Most pillow cases are made out of cotton. Cotton pillowcases will rob moisture from the hair, making blow out hair look rough and unkempt. Bed hair will cut the longevity of your blow out. You can also put the hair in the high pony tail when you sleep. Not only will it protect the ends of your  hair, but will also great a flattering wave to the body of the hair.
After a couple of days, your hair will start to look flat, especially around the hair line and your parting. This is where products and oil tend to accumulate. You can liven up your  hair style by running a ceramic or tourmaline through the hair to extend the effects of the blow out. After a few days, you would pass the point of no return - this is the time to resume your normal hair care regimen or come back to us for another blow out session. Contact us if you want to set up an appointment for future hair blowouts.
